See the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky.
On the walk and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.
On the window ledges
On the branches bare:
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.
Look into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.
Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white,
Every twig is laden -
What a pretty sight!

WINTER WEDDING
Glance out the window and suddenly
we are in a snow-dome;
and there we see gliding gracefully
a bride in her wedding gown.
The gentle and soft steps she takes
in the snow so white,
leads her to the small neighborhood church
where friends and family wait.
What a grande idea, in this ambience of a wonderland,
to be photographed in her snow white cape and gown.
Among the pine trees embellished with white,
she stands and waves for her unique winter portrait.
Winter weddings are distinctive on their own accord,
Just glistening and sparkling for that glorious word.
A chance for a portrait in that time of year,
is wonderful indeed because it is so revered!
